About Enzkreis district

Enzkreis almost surrounds Pforzheim in north-western Baden-Württemberg, but Pforzheim is a separate urban district. Its landscape spans the northern Black Forest, Kraichgau, Stromberg and Heckengäu, so the character changes considerably between communities (district background (opens in a new tab)).

Mühlacker and Remchingen offer useful railway connections, while Maulbronn is known for its UNESCO-listed monastery and Neuenbürg for its castle museum.
